Oman, really, has it all: a mix of a long and fascinating history, breath-taking scenery and a unique climate. Its culture owes much to the Islamic Arab cultures to the north but at the same time reveals distinct African, Persian and Indian influences. Hence it known as the Hidden Jewel of the Middle East.
